White Camphor

White Camphor essential oil is obtained from
steam distillation of wood chips. The designation of 'white' camphor means that
it is the first distillation fraction. Camphor essential oil is used as an antiseptic
and anti-inflammatory, and has been used against flu and other infectious illnesses.
Camphor essential oil is not quite as pungent as Eucalyptus,
but can be used in a very similar manner. Blend it with Eucalyptus,
Peppermint,
Rosemary
or Chamomile. Camphor Essential Oil holds well in soap.
