How
do I order?
Canadian & American customers:The following steps illustrate the basic process from browsing with your
shopping cart, to using our secure online ordering system, to tracking your
shipment:
1. Search through our product pages and enter the number of each item you wish
to purchase in the Quantity box beside the product.
2. Then click Add to Cart and you will be taken to the Shopping Cart page. This
page will show a summary of items you have selected, the quantity you specified
for each item, the regular price for each item, & sale price (if applicable)
on an item.
3. Choose Continue Shopping to add other products, or click Checkout to process
your order using our secure online ordering system.
4. When you click Checkout, you will be taken to the Shipping Information page,
where you fill in your name and address, and select the shipping method of your
choice.
5. Once you fill in all your shipping information, click Next to view your order
summary and total, including shipping, and any applicable taxes (within Canada).
Here, on the Payment Information page, you will enter your payment information,
as well as the security code shown on screen. 6. Click Next to proceed to the
Verification Page, where you can verify your order, shipping, and payment details.
7. Click Submit once you've verified the details of your order, and you will
be taken to a Receipt Page, which confirms your order has been successfully
processed, shows your order, and provides you with an order number that allows
you to track your order's progress through our system. Print the receipt
page for your records. If you have provided your email address, this receipt
will be automatically emailed to you. 8. To track your order, see point 4. below,
under Important Shipping Notes.
All
other customers:
Please email us a list of the products you would like to order and we
will contact you with an accurate shipping charge and estimated delivery time
for your approval.
What
credit cards do you accept? We currently accept most credit cards securely through PayPal. Select the PayPal option in the shopping cart and we will email you a PayPal invoice to pay using your credit card - you do not need a PayPal account.
What
if I don't want to use my credit card online? We also accept email transfers.
Can
I pay with a Cheque or Money Order? Yes, we accept certified cheques
or money orders drawn on major banks. However, we strongly discourage using
a cheque or money order to pay for your online purchase because of the delays
in receiving your order. We will not ship your order until we have confirmation
of funds released into our account. Please note the usual waiting time between
sending us your cheque or money order payment by mail and you receiving your
order is approximately 4 weeks, but can be longer. Mail your order along with

What
is your minimum order? We do not have a minimum order for orders shipped within Canada. Our minimum order for USA orders is $40.00 CAD. Orders less than $75.00 will incur a minimum $14.00 shipping charge. Scroll down to see
our shipping cost details.
Do
you charge handling fees? We do not currently charge a handling fee.
What
other charges do I have to pay? All Canadian customers will be charged
GST (5%) or HST (12,13, or 15%) on the product total. BC orders are also charged PST. Other customers will not
be charged tax by Clearwater Soap Works, and we are not responsible for any
applicable customs duties or taxes charged outside Canada (see point 6. below,
under Important Shipping Notes).
Returns
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However,
if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us with
the details and we will do our best to satisfy you.

Shipping Notes:
1. We use Canada Post and
UPS to ship all our products.
2. We ship our natural
handmade transparent soap products worldwide. We ship essential oils within
Canada and the US (excluding Hawaii & Alaska).
3. Shipping
charges are added to the order during the checkout process. Check the chart
below for shipping charges to your location. In Canada, use Canada Post for
fast delivery and low cost shipping!

4. Track your order status using the tracking tool at
the top of our website using your order number from your order confirmation
Receipt Page. Note: This tracks your order through our system until it is shipped,
and once shipped, it will show you your order's waybill number to enable you
to track it through the shipper's system.
5. Essential oils shipped outside of Canada must be shipped using UPS Ground.
If you pick another method, you will be asked to pick UPS Ground delivery service
instead.
6. Import taxes, duties and other such extra charges are the responsibility
of the customer, and cannot be anticipated by Clearwater Soap Works. This
applies to all orders to the US that are over $800.00 USD. Split your shipment
into multiple orders to avoid UPS brokerage fees, taxes and duties. We offer
significantly subsidized shipping to the US (see our low shipping charges above).
7. All orders are FCA at our log cabin facility. This means that you must report
any damage to your package immediately to the delivery company and pursue any
further actions with them. After you report the damage to the carrier, notify
us as well so that we can ship replacements for the damaged items to you and
assist you with your claim with the carrier.
8. If Canada Post does not deliver to your home address directly, choose UPS
if you would like to receive your order at your door. Please Note: UPS Standard
service is not available in Nunavut, Yukon Territory or NWT.
9. If shipping within Canada we recommend using Canada Post - Expedited parcel
for a fast and economical delivery of your order. UPS Ground service in Canada
is usually slower than Canada Post and much more costly!
UPS
Orders: 1. UPS orders are usually shipped within the next 3 business
days following your order. 2. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an
email from UPS with your tracking information. You can then click the Track
button that will take you to the UPS website and track your shipment with ease!
Canada
Post Orders 1. We usually ship our Canada Post orders twice per
week on Tuesdays and Fridays, depending on holidays and volume. 2. Once your
order is shipped, we will post your order's Canada Post reference number in
our tracking tool at the top of our website. Enter your order number (from your
order Receipt Page) using our tracking tool to view your order status and Canada
Post reference number. You can then use the Canada Post reference number to
track your package through www.canadapost.ca
